This post will be about the police.

First of all, I want to explicitly state that I do not want to smear police officers as if they are less likeable than other players. Just kidding, I actually do. Why? Well, why not? Police officers are always hindering our legitimate goals like robbing old ladies or killing innocent civilians in Los Santos. Just imagine yourself killing a civilian and looting his posessions, and all of a sudden a group of police officers turn up and cowardly arrest you, ruining your honest search for money to provide for your family. Disgraceful act.

But what am I to do? Humbly accept their dominant position on the server and stop committing crimes? Concede that the humble servants of the corrupt government/congress are above us, and beg for their mercy? Absolutely not. I am a honorable criminal and I will keep robbing old ladies and bombing innocent civilians, there is more honor in that than submitting to the morally bankrupt junta that we call the government and the police officers that loyally serve the authorities.

Resisting against the police is not easy though. Police officers have considerable advantages over criminals; they can go undercover, often work in groups like tiny ants and can be hidden on the map. But over the years I have come up with methods to resist them, these are my preferred methods.

First of all, I buy a Hunter every now and then. Yes, it may cost a lot, but nothing gives me more satisfaction than cops running away from my missiles and machine gun as if they were Vietnamese fleeing from the American napalm bombs in the 70's. Police officers are not able to arrest you in the air and cops hidden on the map are easier to spot while flying in a Hunter. You have to watch out for the daft cops flying in a helicopter though, some may try to ram into you and make you explode, sacrificing their lives for the authorities who probably do not even care about them.

Alternatively, I can also purchase a jetpack. Similarly to using a Hunter, police officers are not able to arrest you in the air and hidden cops are easier to spot. I can easily move between the buildings or underneath highways to avoid those pesky helicopters trying to cut you up in pieces using their blades. Usually I land on roofs and use RPG and grenades to torment police officers and make them wish they had chosen a more honorable profession, for example drugdealer.

Lastly, of course it may also occur that I am wanted by the police while I am on foot or in my car. In case I cannot evade my wanted level I will have to resort to minigun to resist cops, even if it means I will still get busted because cops regularly come in groups. But if I go down, I will try to take down as many cops as I can. It is a grand sacrifice but I am willing to make that for my fellow criminals.

The struggle is hard and may be costly, especially when using a Hunter or minigun. Some fights I win, some fights I lose with devastating consequences (sitting in a prison for a whole minute). But to all the honorable people who kill civilians and rob elderly people for some quick cash, you are not alone.
