Hello everyone. Yes, I'm not a fan of emergency vehicles as it was already mentioned from my carmeet feedback. But here, things are actually more focused on these "pretty" looking rare vehicles that are... *sigh* ...officially rare by the Lead Manager himself. So let's get to talking.
First of all, I have this personal complaint with myself. My luck must be the biggest piece of shit I ever had. I am not getting a single emergency vehicle. I sure have gotten only 3 Ultra rare vehicles out of my 4 years of this journey but they were useless. 2 were Roadtrains with which I sold one of them and one was a poop colored ambulance and it had no value and the worst luck of it being in S3. I could sell it for just 4m. I can either blame the vehicle for being this terrible or the players for being that stingy. If I get an emergency vehicles in future, I would sure sell them apart from pure green colored ones, they would belong to me as my precious emeralds.
Second is the seasonal emergency vehicles. I don't know why niCe can't just put the related colored vehicles only instead of putting some mixed and messed up color combination. It looks super awful in my eyes. I'm still trying to suggest to change it but time will tell that.
Third is the greed of the community. There was a organization member, I won't mention his name but he was selling a Police Ranger with the color I wanted and players were dumb enough to offer more than 200-250m for that. I guess they were sharing braincells. I mean, I got a 137/1 LVPD. LVPD!! This thing has been called worthless like the problem is with the players. I have this car, I gave it a try and I loved it. The performance, speed and handling being equally great as other patrol cars. Not to mention, I got this car for just 135m. Short story long, this was on sale for 70m and I didn't had money that time. So, another player bought it for 100m and sold it to me with that mentioned price. Greed is such a wild thing that sure is in a lot of players and I'm disappointed by the players just being that stingy for virtual money. No offense, this is a game at the end of everything and nothing ends here. I rejected the Ranger as I had a Park Ranger and a police car so what am I gonna do with the Ranger? I mean sure is good for flexing but think again, it's a minor reflection of the collectors' characteristics. Players would spend hundreds of millions on a car that is already colored and can't be colored. I mean sure I have a favorite color and I agree on having collecton but I'm against the overpricing statement. I'm still looking for a Green Police Maverick by the way, if someone would be selling, my offer won't go above $100,000,000 as it's not that useful. Anyway, I prefer these price ranges for colored emergency vehicles based on their colors as well:
Police LSPD/SFPD/LVPD - $300,000,000 (Pure Color), $250,000,000 (Closer to Pure color), $200,000,000 (Replacement for a Pure color), $150,000,000 (Uncommon color), $100,000,000 (Faded Color), $50,000,000 (Dark Color)
These cars are normally used for police service in the community and I think a player shouldn't buy above or below these price ranges to get scammed.
Firetruck isn't that useless as players perceive it to be. It's grind in SF can help you make fast cash.
If I find players offering outside these ranges, they better be scamming in my eyes. At the end, this is still just my personal opinion on these things so don't take it personal. Be sure to Subscribe to the blog to stay tuned for future posts. Thanks for reading this and have a wonderful day.
Good blog. There's price limits for this reason, to prevent/reduce scamming. These rare colored vehicles are valued for social reasons, players feel a sense of pride and 'power' by owning and driving them around. If you play the game casually like I do, you don't get trapped into wasting ingame money on a color or a massive collection you're not gonna use. Every car I own, I use for a specific purpose.

“It’s easy to criticize collectors paying big for a colored car, but you’re doing the same thing by paying for a specific color.”Share me that information if I even tried to do that. I never did. All my vehicles were bought under that range I have made. “it's unfair to mock others for doing exactly what you're doing. Just because it's not your thing doesn't mean it's pointless for everyone else”Again. I don't do that. You can take the mockery somewhere else. “It feels like you're jealous that another player is paying big for a rare, valuable color, while you're left with the cheaper options like color 137 to buy”Sure feel it. It's mockery not jealousy btw. It's just an opinion like I said at the end of this post. I appreciate their motivations tho. Negative comments are never new to me so you can come up with something more disturbing next time.
You're missing the point here. It’s easy to criticize collectors paying big for a colored car, but you’re doing the same thing by paying for a specific color. It’s the same desire for exclusivity, and you're part of that crowd too. People invest in what they love, whether for show or passion, so it's unfair to mock others for doing exactly what you're doing. Just because it's not your thing doesn't mean it's pointless for everyone else.
it’s like you’re talking but not really saying anything. lol...
idk...It feels like you're jealous that another player is paying big for a rare, valuable color, while you're left with the cheaper options like color 137 to buy.
“instead of putting some mixed and messed up color combination. It looks super awful in my eyes.”Agree. Espescially Halloween and Easter emergency colors are awful
Anyways, it's a good blog I think it's useful to players who are new to the PD's game and who have no idea what price is fair and what is not like I paid 30m for that green enforcer which I like to call Troller 9000
