Hey guys, it's Stiffy here with another blog post. To begin with, 750 tokens - really not f enough?! I understand that many of you might make that in an hour (haha, no), so it might not seem worth it, but does no one care enough to compete for the prize? Seriously, 750 TK for a few lines in a blog..
Okay, Stiffy, calm down. All good? Yeah, let's continue. So what's the deal here? I’d appreciate if you, the players and readers - but definitely not writers - could explain it to me. In the past, I already vented about the situation with custom original events, so this is kind of the same thing, but just for the blog competition. To me, it seems like everyone wants everything for free, or at most can manage to write a number in the comments - but when it comes to coming up with something and writing a meaningful text, it's a disaster. But why? Do you hate blogs? Sure, I’d bet a lot of people don’t. But when there is 750 tokens in stake? Some people on the server don't enjoy events, but when there are bonuses, they suddenly log in every half hour. Look, I could easily write 5 posts in an hour that would aim for victory, and I'm not a writer or particularly imaginative. And I might sound arrogant, but that’s how it is when you're the best at something, right? Just kidding, but you get me (or am I kidding?).
Honestly, I was tempted to remove the rewards or at least cut them down, but that wouldn’t be fair. Luckily, the English community (YOU GUYS) saved the competition and showed interest in writing something, so the result will be announced for both servers together (otherwise, there wouldn’t have been enough participants for Czech servers to even cover the prize spots). Cheers.
Just so no one takes this too seriously, of course I’m joking, and the whole thing meant to be funny. But that doesn’t change the fact that you should be ashamed! SHAME!
Oh, you're still here, still reading this? Wow, okay, I guess I forgot to announce the winners. But first, some numbers. For the month of July, there are, apart from mine, 15 blogs with posts. Out of those, 2 are interview blogs, 1 is a meme blog, 1 is a guide blog, and 1 is a contest blog—all of which are, of course, not part of the competition. The winner of the previous contest has 3 blogs that will not be participating. So there are 8 users who followed the contest rules and wrote a blog post. Just 8 out of the approximately 8,000 users who logged into the website this month.
But back to the contest. I expected more participation, not gonna lie, but not everyone can write, of course, which I’ve already covered above. And for those who say no one knew about it? Both the English and Czech posts got promoted 3 times. Alright, enough complaining, let’s get to it.
First, I want to generally acknowledge and praise all the participants, because we achieved what we wanted. We got to hear your opinions, your disagreements with updates, your memories of your early days, or even stories of how a player first met their favorite YouTuber in the game. Some posts are shorter, some longer, but all of them met the criteria and are enjoyable to read. Thanks for that. I’ve already complained about the lack of participants, but the rewards remain as originally planned—500 tokens for the winner and 250 tokens for second place.
We debated for a long time about second place, as there were two quite similar posts about the journey and early experiences of a player. In the end, we decided to award second place to Cr34tive's Thoughts, because in addition to describing his journey, he also shared his thoughts on gangs, which led to an interesting discussion in the comments. He also creatively evaluated the friends he met in the game (though as one of their acquaintances, I’d probably be offended if I didn’t get an S rank ). Creative's activity is positive, and even though he nearly ruined it at the end with a giveaway contest, which I really hate, he still secured the second place. Good job and well done, congratulations!
Drumroll, first place might be controversial considering some opinions, but from my perspective, the victory is well deserved, even if I don’t necessarily agree with all the opinions expressed - and that’s exactly what it’s about, reading and reflecting on others perspectives. Archjun and his Arch’s blog is by far the best in terms of topics, text structure, and content. Personally, he would have won just with the post “I absolutely hate jobs”, but even better that he wrote 7 more posts. All of them are interesting and all of them are of high quality. I would highlight the mentioned piece about why he hates jobs on the server, or perhaps the reflection “Am I a psychopath?” Excellent work, well-deserved 500 tokens, and congratulations. We hope that this win doesn’t mark the end, and we look forward to reading more of your interesting posts.
With that, I thank all participants and, of course, the readers as well. Take a look at the individual posts and ask yourself, "Was it really that hard for 500/250 tokens?" Feel free to drop your answer in the comments. I’m signing off, and maybe we’ll meet again for another blog post, but certainly not for a competition. Stiffy out.
Well thanks for this great contest, and of course thanks for the prize! Most contests revolve around in-game stats or events, this one however was very unique and caught my attention instantly. I must say it was actually quite fun writing about the stuff I experience in-game, and putting my creativity to the test.
“We hope that this win doesn’t mark the end, and we look forward to reading more of your interesting posts.”If there were more readers and bloggers it would be worthwhile posting regularly. But whenever I look at this community, I doubt if many users are even interested in reading for longer than 10 seconds, let alone writing an extensive blog post themselves. Therefore I cannot make any promises, but I might try to post once in a while.
Damn I almost started my blog the other day but yeah procrastination strikes back.

It was a joke since I'm known as a hater of giveaways, so don't worry. All blogs with recent posts were automatically involved and entered the competition. And of course, I'm looking forward to read more from you!

Didn't knew my contest blog got involved for no reason. I just didn't gave away for 2 months, so that's why (I have a really bad habit to give away money). Also, I just got that idea after your contest posting just because I did found something was missing and it was that, my opinions and thoughts. But anyway, I don't mind. I'm continuing to post more in future as I really liked where it is going right now.
