Would you like to see custom downloadable object models and skins in the next SA-MP release?

The downloadable object models and skins are currently featured in beta version SA-MP 0.3.DL. When players connect to the server, the client will automatically download object models and skins for them, which might take few minutes (only for the first time, next time objects won't download again). The custom object models and skins enable server owners to add more features to their servers.

don't overdo the textures, keep it within the theme of the game itself or gta online. thats my recommendation, you could probably introduce new minigames and missions.

Custom assets was always going to be in samp, but it came really late. I don't understand how you expect people to be satisfied with content only available in the base game.
If you look at games such as GMod or Team Fortress 2 they are all kept afloat by the community contributing ideas to the game.
I can understand if people are vary of change, but there has been a lot of changes on S4 and they are all received positively, bike neons, Vice city skins, yachts. They were all added in consideration to keep the game grounded and keep its identity intact, so you only need to look at past updates to see what kind of changes could come should we decide to push forward with DL.

i'm worried if this update will make the server more laggy and players who have bad computers wont be able to play in this server agian cause

this is to much load , the game will start lagging

70% of today we didn't had back in 2012-15, the only thing i like in the dl is the neon thing that can be added on bikes and can be turned on daylight, but adding custom skins/re texture buildings etc will change the look of the game, but i dont like the custom weird skins that are not related to the in game year 1992.. and probably we gonna lose more players who knows..”
Don't be ridiculous, you may be having fun at the moment but how long will that last with the limited samp updates that we can get. Everything has to change and adapt at some point to survive, sure there have been a lot of updates throughout the years but do you really think a golf or a minigame update is gonna freshen up the game for someone with a lot of hours? I am sure the main game won't change, it'll just get a breath of fresh air.

idk why i voted straight yes but ok. : im not sure how far this would go ? i definetly dont want some weird ass weeb skins and what not in the game of san andreas. so as long as we just tune cars weapons thats great. idk how far thsi goes...

i dont like that too, because GTA SA is special like a game, if we add mods we will destroy it. So i dont like this idea and i dont want to play if every server is gonna have downloadible content.

+ everyone will need to install 0.3DL.
imagine you walking on street and see model that you havent seen anytime.

idk why people want this with every good updates (events, golf, etc...)

Creative idea, would expand the possibilities of what you can do in the server, but as alot of people said, don't give us HD crap, or those disguisting "Fully detailed gta 5 oppressor II", we could use stuff from previous games, or some custom assets, as long as you guys listen to the players, im pretty sure you can figure something out, something everyone is okay with :<
